Algaid’Art is an evening of art that is held in Algaida. The first weekend in September, and only for one night, art takes over the town with artwork by local and foreign artists being shown in public and private buildings and on the streets and in the town’s squares. All types of art are on display, particularly visual arts like paintings, photographs and sculptures, but also music, exhibitions, installations, workshops and live theatre and dance performances, that complement the event.
The evening is organised by the Algaida Council, with the collaboration of artists from Algaida, Pina and Randa.
This night of art is complemented by exhibitions held in other spaces around Algaida, such as the Centre Veterinari, Pepa Project, V5 Arquitectes, Can Ferrer, Sa Casa Mallorquina-Can Borràs, Lluc Queralt, Cas Peixet-Borràs and Colomer 15, among others.
Aquesta nit de l’art es complementa amb exposicions a d’altres espais d’Algaida, com el Centre Veterinari, l’Espai Pepa Project, l’Espai V5 arquitectes, Can Ferrer, Sa Casa Mallorquina-Can Borràs, l’Espai Lluc Queralt, Cas Peixet-Borràs o l’Espai Colomer 15, emtre d’altres.
