History

Gordiola is one of the oldest artisanal brands of Majorca. It is a family business that was founded in 1719 by a Catalan-Aragonese merchant. The art of glass blowing requires great skill and dexterity. Asymmetry and irregularity are the main characteristics of this glass. Gordiola manufactures all types of glassware for the home and is famous for its original shapes and colours. The prestige of the glassware transcends borders and its products have reached New York, Brussels and Buenos Aires. The factory, a huge old house that looks like a castle from the outside, offers guided tours for visitors of its incredible collection of glass and also demonstrations of the elaboration process of its products.
